As a positive step towards enhancing the quality and effectiveness of Police officers in Abia State, the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, psc, fwc, MNIM, fdc, had held a close door meeting with strategic Police officers of Abia State Command.
During the meeting, the CP highlighted the importance of community policing and urged officers in the command to prioritize it.
The CP frowned at every unprofessionalism by police officers, stating that such acts undermine the trust between the public and the police.
Finally, the CP tasked all officers to be tactical and proactive in their approach to policing the state.
Police officers must maintain their integrity and always act within the boundaries of the law.
