ABIA STATE POLICE COMMAND COLLABORATES WITH HOTEL OWNERS FOR IMPROVED SECURITY IN THE STATE

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command represented by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Finance and Administration, DCP Samuel Onoja and Personnel from Department of State Intelligence, synergize on how to maintain internal security

He held a brief meeting with Executive members of Hotel Owners Association, Abia State Chapter on the way forward .

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner of Police emphasized on the importance of implementing preventive measures and also provided practical guidance on utilizing available resources to enhance security. He also educated the hoteliers to promptly access police emergency numbers in case of any security concerns or emergencies.

 In response to concerns raised by the hoteliers, DCP Samuel Onoja introduced Abia State Police Hotlines, Complaint Response Unit (CRU) and Electronic Central Motor Registry (E-CMR) as valuable tools for addressing security-related issues and reporting criminal activities.

Finally, both parties expressed commitment to working together to improve security within the hospitality sector in Abia State.
