DEPUTY GOVERNOR EMETU REUNITES WITH CLASSMATES, HONOURS TEACHERS AT GCK CLASS OF 2001 SILVER JUBILEE

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, on Saturday, August 29, joined his former classmates from Government College Ketu-Epe (GCK), Class of 2001, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their graduation from the college.

The Silver Jubilee Reunion, held at Moonstone Hall, Whitestone Event Center, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State, was a heartfelt gathering that brought together the GCK Class of 2001, celebrating not just their friendships and shared memories, but also their personal achievements and the lasting values they gained during their school years.

As the Guest Speaker at the event, the Deputy Governor emphasised that the reunion was a homecoming and a tribute to the institution that played a pivotal role in shaping their lives.

Reflecting on his own school days, Emetu shared that returning to the school after 25 years filled him with gratitude, joy, and a wave of nostalgia. He pointed out that no matter the paths they have taken or the successes they have achieved, they all remain proud products of GCK.

He fondly recalled the unique experiences of boarding school life—like the morning bells, study sessions, inspections, hostel chores, and the strong bonds formed among students. He noted that these experiences were crucial in building resilience, discipline, adaptability, and a deep sense of community.

The Deputy Governor also paid heartfelt tribute to the former Principal, Otunba Aybade Obajimi, whom he praised as a visionary leader who recognised that education goes beyond examinations and grades; but about character, discipline, and nurturing individuals.

He highlighted how the former Principal fostered an environment that encouraged excellence, empowered teachers to inspire, and provided students with the chance to realise their full potential.

Emetu also expressed his deep gratitude to the teachers, house masters, and house mistresses, who he described as parental figures away from home, playing a significant role in the growth and development of the students.

“You recognised our potential long before we even saw it ourselves. You stepped in to guide us when we needed correction. You lifted us up during our moments of self-doubt. You pushed us to strive for better versions of ourselves.”

Emetu took a moment to express his gratitude to Mr. Oshinaike for his kindness, fatherly guidance, and unwavering belief in the students. He pointed out that many of the values that continue to shape their lives were instilled by teachers who truly invested in their students.

He seized the opportunity to remind everyone of the vital role teachers play in nurturing future leaders and shaping society.

He noted that while we often celebrate governors, ministers, judges, business leaders, and other high-profile figures, we must never forget the teachers who prepared them for their important roles.

“Without teachers, there can be no leaders, no governors, no deputy governors, and no presidents,” he emphasised.

He encouraged the alumni to give back to the institution that invested so much in them, suggesting that meaningful contributions to its development are the best way to show their appreciation.

According to him, honouring their alma mater goes beyond just attending reunions; it involves supporting infrastructure, creating scholarships, mentoring younger students, and being proud ambassadors of the institution.

Emetu also praised the Planning Committee for their successful organisation of the Silver Jubilee Reunion, acknowledging that it took commitment, sacrifice, vision, patience, and teamwork to pull it off.

He gave special recognition to the Alumni President, Oluwadamilare Shittu, for his leadership and dedication in coordinating the reunion, calling his efforts and those of his team a true testament to service and commitment.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Alumni President, Damilare Shittu, described the Silver Jubilee as a special moment for the GCK Class of 2001 to come together and celebrate their journey. He noted that the reunion was a chance to reconnect, reminisce about their shared experiences, and think about the legacy they can continue to build as a group.

He pointed out that even though everyone has taken different paths in their careers over the past 25 years, the bond they forged during their school days remains as strong as ever.

“The world has changed, but GCK stays the same — the connections we made in our early years still unite us, even as we chase our own dreams and embark on unique journeys.”

The 25th Reunion Anniversary was filled with nostalgia, laughter, and a celebration of the lasting brotherhood among the Class of 2001, with participants from various professional backgrounds reflecting on how their shared experiences transformed them from mere classmates into lifelong friends.

2027: Ikenna Ukwa Takes ‘My Mandate Is for Everyone’ Message to Arochukwu Grassroots Leaders

The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, has taken his campaign for the 2027 election directly to the grassroots, declaring that his proposed representation will not discriminate between APC members and supporters of other political parties.

Ukwa made the declaration while addressing the Forum of Former Elected Councillors, Arochukwu LGA chapter, during an interactive engagement focused on his aspiration and his vision for the constituency.

In a statement that captured the central message of his engagement, Ukwa said:

“I am coming to represent all the parties in Arochukwu/Ohafia LGAs. Once elected, I will be the representative of PDP members, LP members, APGA members, APC members, and even those who do not belong to any party. My mandate will be for the people.”

The declaration underlines Ukwa’s attempt to frame the 2027 contest around inclusive representation rather than partisan loyalty.

He told the former councillors that their understanding of the grassroots makes them indispensable partners in any serious effort to transform Arochukwu/Ohafia.

Ukwa urged them to bring their experience, community contacts and grassroots networks to bear in communicating his message across the wards.

Beyond promises of future representation, the APC candidate also drew attention to his activities in the constituency over the years, stressing that his relationship with the people did not begin with his decision to contest for public office.

He highlighted interventions involving youths, women traders, education, healthcare and community development, presenting them as evidence of his commitment to service even outside an elected position.

He said his ambition is to translate that commitment into broader federal representation capable of attracting meaningful projects, creating opportunities for young people and supporting vulnerable groups across the constituency.

For Ukwa, the political differences that exist among constituents should not become barriers to development.
He therefore called for a politics that places the collective interests of Arochukwu/Ohafia above party divisions.

Responding, the Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Tony Nwankwo, and other members of the group commended Ukwa’s approach, particularly his emphasis on inclusiveness and grassroots engagement.
They described him as a “people-oriented leader”, while applauding what they characterised as his consistent identification with the grassroots and his record of interventions in the constituency.

The engagement adds another dimension to the emerging 2027 political contest, with Ukwa seeking to build support not only among members of his APC platform but also across the wider political and social spectrum of Arochukwu/Ohafia.

His message is increasingly clear: party may provide the platform, but the people remain the proposed mandate.

ABIA AT 35: DEPUTY GOVERNOR EMETU CELEBRATES PROGRESS, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO “THE RISE OF A NEW ABIA”

Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, has extended warm congratulations to the Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, and to all the people of Abia State, both at home and abroad, as the state joyfully celebrates its 35th anniversary.

Engr. Emetu emphasized that the state is now embarking on a new chapter of intentional development, marked by a renewed focus on infrastructure, strengthening institutions, enhancing public service delivery, revitalizing the economy, and prioritizing the welfare of its citizens.

He particularly motivated young Abians to view themselves not just as recipients of the state’s transformation but as active builders of its future, urging them to acquire relevant skills, embrace innovation, and seize emerging opportunities. He also took a moment to commend Abia’s traditional rulers, religious leaders, women, youth, professionals, entrepreneurs, artisans, workers, and the organized private sector for their invaluable contributions to the state’s growth and development.

The Deputy Governor urged public servants to stay dedicated to professionalism, integrity, diligence, and service, highlighting that the strength of our institutions is what truly sustains any development we achieve.

Speaking on the spiritual essence of the state’s identity, Engr. Emetu remarked:

“Abia is proudly known as God’s Own State, and our progress is deeply anchored in faith, hard work, and divine guidance. I encourage all Abians to remain steadfast, united, and focused on the tasks ahead. Let’s join forces to create a prosperous, peaceful, and thriving Abia that will shine as a beacon of hope and opportunity for generations to come.”

He reassured the people of Abia of his unwavering commitment, alongside the Governor, to the shared mission of transforming the state and enhancing the quality of life for its citizens.

Engr. Emetu prayed for ongoing peace, stability, and prosperity in Abia State, asking God to bestow wisdom, courage, and strength upon the state’s leaders so they can fulfill their duties with humility and dedication.

While acknowledging that Abia has much to celebrate after 35 years, he emphasized that the greatest celebration would be the emergence of a state where every citizen has ample opportunities to live, work, invest, raise a family, and thrive with dignity.

“We honor our past, we cherish the present, but we must be brave enough to forge an even brighter future. The best chapters of Abia’s story are still to come. The journey continues, and together, we will build the Abia of our dreams.”

The Deputy Governor once again congratulated Governor Alex Otti and all the people of Abia State on the 35th anniversary of the state’s creation, wishing everyone a peaceful, joyful, and memorable celebration.

Happy 35th Anniversary, Abia State!

2027: Arochukwu/Ohafia Must Judge Leaders by What They Attract, Not Who Shouts Loudest

As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia are once again being confronted with competing narratives about representation, performance and development.

But beyond the noise of social media arguments, propaganda and political accusations, there is a more important conversation that deserves the attention of the electorate: What tangible development has each political actor helped bring to the people?

The questions are simple.

Where are the projects?

Who attracted them?

Which communities benefited?

What was the value of the projects?

Were the contractors paid?

Were the projects completed?

And, most importantly, what impact are they having on ordinary people?

These are the questions that should define political evaluation in Arochukwu/Ohafia—not who can produce the loudest social-media commentary.

Government Funding Does Not Cancel Political Facilitation

One argument that has increasingly featured in political discussions is the claim that a legislator cannot take credit for a project because the project was funded by a government agency.

That argument requires a more nuanced understanding of how public representation works.

There is an important distinction between funding a project and facilitating its attraction.

A government agency may provide the funds and execute a project, but representatives and political stakeholders can identify community needs, lobby relevant agencies, submit requests, follow up on approvals and push for government interventions to reach particular communities.

There is nothing inherently contradictory about acknowledging such facilitation.

Indeed, representatives routinely communicate government interventions to their constituents. The line that should not be crossed is the deliberate misrepresentation of public funds as personal money.

Therefore, if there is evidence that Hon. Ikenna Ukwa falsely claimed ownership of projects funded by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) or another government institution, such evidence should be produced.

Let the facts speak.

Let the documents be examined.

Let the public determine whether the claims were accurate.

Political accusations should not become substitutes for evidence.

On the other hand, where available evidence demonstrates that Hon. Ikenna Ukwa facilitated or attracted government interventions to communities within Arochukwu/Ohafia, that contribution should be acknowledged for what it is: facilitation of public development, not personal ownership of public funds.

And What About the Legislator Who Attracts Nothing?

There is another uncomfortable question that should not be avoided.

If one representative is actively engaging government agencies, stakeholders and relevant institutions to attract roads, classrooms, healthcare interventions, streetlights and other development projects, while another has little or nothing tangible to point to, should the electorate simply celebrate silence?

Representation is about more than occupying a seat in the National Assembly.

Attendance matters. Legislative participation matters. Motions, bills and oversight responsibilities matter. But so do constituency engagement, advocacy, intervention and the ability to connect communities with opportunities available through government institutions.

A legislator’s responsibility is ultimately to represent the interests of the people.

Where communities have pressing infrastructure and development needs, an effective representative should be expected to identify those needs and pursue legitimate avenues through which government can respond.

Therefore, if one political actor can demonstrate a verifiable record of attracting interventions while another cannot point to comparable achievements, the debate should be about performance, capacity and results.

It should not be reduced to arguments over who paid a contractor.

Let the Projects Speak

The people of Arochukwu/Ohafia are capable of making informed judgments.

They understand the difference between a government-funded project and the individual or institution that helped bring that project to their community.

If a classroom has been constructed, let the classroom speak.

If streetlights have been installed, let the beneficiaries testify.

If a road intervention has been delivered, let the community assess its impact.

If a healthcare facility has received an intervention, let the people who use it tell their story.

And if Hon. Ikenna Ukwa played a role in facilitating such interventions, that contribution should neither be exaggerated nor deliberately erased.

There is no contradiction in saying that government funded and executed a project while a representative helped attract it to a particular community.

Both facts can be true at the same time.

2027 Should Be About Evidence, Not Noise

As 2027 approaches, Arochukwu/Ohafia deserves a political culture that places evidence above propaganda and measurable results above social-media theatrics.

Every aspirant and incumbent should face the same questions:

What have you done?

What have you attracted?

Which communities have benefited?

What impact can be independently verified?

What problems did you help solve?

Why should the people trust you with another mandate?

These are fair questions for every political actor, regardless of party affiliation or personal popularity.

The people should not be compelled to choose between competing narratives. They should be given the opportunity to examine records, visit projects, speak to beneficiaries and assess the measurable impact of representation.

Arochukwu/Ohafia deserves leaders who do more than make speeches.

It deserves leaders who engage institutions, pursue opportunities, attract legitimate interventions, advocate for their constituents and leave behind tangible evidence of service.

Ultimately, development should not be judged by who shouts the loudest on social media. It should be judged by what the people can see, verify and feel in their communities.

Come 2027, the electorate should let the evidence—not the noise—make the argument.

2027: Why Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa Could Be the Strategic Voice Arochukwu/Ohafia Needs at the National Assembly

For too long, the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia have watched political developments unfold while placing their collective aspirations in the hands of representatives expected to adequately articulate their interests at the federal level.

As the 2027 political season gradually takes shape, a fundamental question is beginning to dominate conversations across the constituency: What kind of representation does Arochukwu/Ohafia truly need in the National Assembly?

For supporters of Hon. Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, the answer lies in capacity, strategic influence, legislative competence and a demonstrated commitment to people-centred development.

The argument is not simply about replacing one politician with another. It is about redefining what effective representation should mean for Arochukwu/Ohafia in Abuja.

Beyond Popularity: The Need for Capacity

Membership of the Federal House of Representatives requires more than political popularity. It demands intellect, courage, negotiation skills, strategic thinking and the ability to understand how government policies, budgets, committees and federal interventions can translate into tangible benefits for constituents.

Hon. Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa is being presented by his supporters as a candidate with the pedigree, sophistication, networks and commitment required to pursue this form of representation.

The central proposition is straightforward: Arochukwu/Ohafia deserves a representative whose influence can extend beyond the plenary chamber into the strategic corridors where national policies and development priorities are shaped.

1. Building a Stronger Federal Presence

One of the critical expectations of federal representation is the ability to attract government attention and development opportunities to the constituency.

Hon. Ikenna Ukwa’s supporters believe his experience, relationships and networks could be strategically deployed in pursuing federal projects, interventions, programmes, appointments and other opportunities capable of benefiting communities across Arochukwu and Ohafia.

For a constituency with significant human and economic potential, stronger engagement with federal institutions could help open additional avenues for development.

2. Effective Legislative Representation

The National Assembly is fundamentally a legislative institution, and effective representation should therefore go beyond attendance at parliamentary sessions.

A strong representative should be able to identify issues affecting constituents and translate them into bills, motions, petitions, policy interventions and legislative advocacy.

From farmers and traders to entrepreneurs, professionals, students and young people, Arochukwu/Ohafia has a wide range of interests requiring effective articulation at the federal level.

The vision being associated with Hon. Ikenna Ukwa is therefore anchored on a representation that seeks to make the constituency’s concerns visible within national policymaking.

3. Investing in Youths and Human Capital

Arochukwu/Ohafia’s greatest resource remains its people, particularly its youthful population.

A forward-looking federal representative must therefore pay attention to education, scholarships, vocational training, entrepreneurship, digital skills and access to federal youth-development programmes.

Hon. Ikenna Ukwa’s proposed vision places human capital development among the key areas requiring attention.

The objective is to help young people acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to compete in an increasingly technology-driven economy while creating stronger connections between constituents and existing federal opportunities.

4. Strategic Committee Participation and Oversight

Effective representation in Abuja is also about understanding the power and responsibilities of National Assembly committees.

Strategic committee participation can provide opportunities for legislators to influence discussions around budgets, policies, federal agencies and projects relevant to their constituencies.

Beyond securing projects, effective oversight is essential to ensuring that approved interventions are properly implemented.

For Arochukwu/Ohafia, the expectation is that its representative should not merely occupy a seat but should make that seat count.

5. Uniting Arochukwu and Ohafia Around a Common Agenda

Perhaps one of the most important dimensions of the proposed political vision is the emphasis on unity.

Arochukwu and Ohafia constitute one federal constituency, and their collective political strength is greatest when both communities approach development with a shared sense of purpose.

Representation should therefore promote inclusion rather than division, cooperation rather than rivalry, and a common development agenda rather than narrow interests.

The objective should be to build a constituency where every community feels represented and every constituent understands that his or her voice matters.

The Choice Before Arochukwu/Ohafia

As political conversations ahead of 2027 intensify, voters will inevitably be presented with different candidates, narratives and political promises.

For supporters of Hon. Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, the choice is ultimately about what standard Arochukwu/Ohafia wants to establish for its representation at the federal level.

Should representation be measured primarily by popularity and political sentiments, or should greater emphasis be placed on capacity, competence, legislative effectiveness, strategic influence and measurable impact?

These are questions that constituents will have to consider carefully.

This Is Bigger Than One Candidate

The campaign around Hon. Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa is being framed by his supporters as more than an individual political ambition. It is being presented as a conversation about the future of Arochukwu/Ohafia and the kind of voice the constituency wants to have in Abuja.

The appeal is therefore directed at sons and daughters of Arochukwu/Ohafia at home and in the diaspora to look beyond personal interests, sentiments and local political divisions and consider the broader development interests of the constituency.

Choose capacity over sentiment.

Choose vision over division.

Choose competence over complacency.

Choose representation that can make the voice of Arochukwu/Ohafia count.

The road to 2027 will undoubtedly produce competing ideas and political alignments. But at the heart of the conversation should be one fundamental question:

Who can provide Arochukwu/Ohafia with the strategic, effective and people-centred representation it deserves at the National Assembly?

For the Ikenna Ukwa Media Team, the answer is clear.

Hon. Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa represents a cardinal vision for a stronger, more influential and development-focused Arochukwu/Ohafia in the National Assembly.

Our Voice.
Our Vision.
Our Future.

‘This Won’t Happen’ — Davido Alleges Soldiers Tried to Stop Him From Entering Osun

Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has raised concerns over an alleged attempt by soldiers to prevent him from entering Osun State as voters head to the polls in Saturday’s governorship election.

Davido, who is a nephew of incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, made the allegation in a post on his verified X account in the early hours of Saturday.

According to the singer, he was informed that soldiers were attempting to block his access to the state.

“I’ve been reliably informed that soldiers are trying to prevent me from entering Osun tomorrow, this won’t happen, every citizen of Nigeria has the right to movement at any point of time,” Davido wrote.

His claim comes against the backdrop of a movement restriction already announced by security authorities ahead of the election.

The Nigeria Police Force had announced restrictions on movement across Osun State from midnight on Friday, August 14, until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, as part of measures aimed at ensuring a peaceful and orderly election.

Thousands of police officers and other security personnel have reportedly been deployed across the state to maintain security during the exercise.

However, Davido’s allegation has sparked debate over whether the reported attempt to stop him was part of the general election-day security measures or a targeted restriction against a prominent supporter of the incumbent governor.

Davido has been actively involved in Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election campaign under the Accord Party. The governor is seeking a second term and faces opponents including the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.

Reacting to Davido’s post, former presidential media aide Bashir Ahmad dismissed the singer’s complaint as “dramatic,” pointing to the previously announced movement restriction.

Ahmad argued that the restriction was a standard election security measure and was not specifically directed at Davido.

He maintained that the constitutional right to freedom of movement does not exempt anyone from complying with lawful security measures introduced to safeguard an election.

The controversy therefore leaves a key question hanging: was Davido being subjected to the same movement restriction applicable to residents and visitors across Osun State, or was there a separate attempt to specifically prevent him from entering the state?

As voting gets underway, attention is now likely to remain focused on the implementation of the security measures and whether Davido’s allegation will receive any official clarification from the relevant security authorities.

Abia Set to Host Made-in-Aba Expo 2026 as Government Targets Investors and Global Markets

Preparations for the Made-in-Nigeria (Made-in-Aba) Product Expo 2026 have entered full implementation, with the Abia State Government stepping up efforts to showcase the State’s manufacturing strength, entrepreneurial capacity and growing industrial potential to investors and buyers within and outside Nigeria.

The five-day Expo, organised by the Abia State Government in partnership with the National Brands Development and Made-in-Nigeria Project Office, is scheduled to hold from September 22 to 26, 2026, at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia.

The event will be held under the theme, “Showcasing South-East Enterprise, Driving Investment and Accelerating Made-in-Nigeria.”

Speaking on the preparations, the Commissioner for Industry and SMEs, Mazi Michael Enyinnaya Akpara, said the Expo would create an important platform for manufacturers, entrepreneurs, investors, buyers and other stakeholders to establish business connections, access new markets and explore investment opportunities.

According to him, the event will feature a wide range of activities, including product exhibitions, an Investment and Business Forum, business-to-business meetings, MSME clinics, as well as cultural and food showcases.

The Expo is expected to attract exhibitors from Abia State, the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, providing local businesses with an opportunity to display their products before a wider national and international audience.

Akpara also disclosed that the Abia State Product Expo 2026 Planning and Implementation Committee has been inaugurated and is already fully operational.

He added that exhibitor registration is currently open to manufacturers, entrepreneurs and artisans across Abia and the wider South-East, urging businesses and other relevant stakeholders to take advantage of the platform.

The Commissioner called on manufacturers, artisans, entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, development partners and international buyers to participate actively in the Expo, describing it as an opportunity to build partnerships, expand markets and unlock new business opportunities.

Abia Promises Massive Publicity

Also speaking during the engagement, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief Okey Kanu, assured organisers and participants that his Ministry would deploy its publicity machinery to give the Expo extensive visibility.

Kanu stressed that the publicity campaign would be broad and aggressive enough to attract substantial participation, investment and business opportunities to Abia.

He said the publicity would “reach the ends of the earth,” underscoring the State Government’s determination to place the Made-in-Aba brand before a global audience.

The renewed push for the Expo comes as Abia continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Nigeria’s major hubs for small and medium-scale manufacturing and entrepreneurship.

Beyond product exhibition, the 2026 Expo is expected to help businesses improve market access, visibility, investment connections and business-to-business relationships, while further promoting Made-in-Aba as a brand associated with originality, craftsmanship, creativity and quality.

With manufacturers and entrepreneurs expected from across the country, the event could provide a significant platform for Abia businesses to move beyond traditional markets and connect with new customers, investors and strategic partners.

The engagement was attended by Mr. Green Amakwe, Special Adviser on PPP; Mr. George Nwabueze, National Coordinator; and Nwosu Chinyere, Abia State Coordinator of the National Brands Development and Made-in-Nigeria Project.

As preparations gather momentum, all eyes will be on Umuahia in September as Abia seeks to turn the Made-in-Aba brand into an even stronger vehicle for enterprise development, investment attraction and economic growth.

INEC: 1.9 Million PVCs Collected Ahead of Osun Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that 1,906,390 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) have been collected by registered voters across Osun State ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.

The figure represents 81.50 per cent of the state’s 2,339,233 registered voters, according to a statement issued on Thursday by Mohammed Kudu Haruna, National Commissioner and Chairman of INEC’s Information and Voter Education Committee.

INEC said 432,843 PVCs, representing 18.50 per cent of registered voters, remain uncollected. The commission explained that the uncollected cards have been deposited with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), in line with its established practice.

The commission also disclosed that some voters whose PVCs were damaged, defaced or lost had applied for replacement cards. Of those who applied, 6,101 voters have printed downloadable copies of their PVCs.

INEC said it has published a polling-unit-by-polling-unit breakdown of PVCs collected across the state on its official website, providing stakeholders and the public with access to the detailed figures.

The electoral body further assured political parties, civil society organisations, the media and residents of Osun State that it is fully prepared for the election scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026.

INEC said it remains committed to conducting a free, fair, credible, transparent and inclusive election.

The election will determine who governs Osun State for the next four years, with voters across the state expected to exercise their franchise in the keenly contested governorship poll.
